Among the youth stranded in Malaysia are Som Magar of Kharmi, Diktel Rupakot Mazhuwagadhi Municipality-11, Sujan Khadka of Sapteswar Kepilasgadhi Rural Municipality-5 of Khotang, Suman Tamang and Prakash Tamang of Dingla, Shadanand Municipality-8 of Bhojpur and Sanam Darai of Khairhani Municipality-1 Baheri of Chitwan. They are in captivity in a room in a house in Jalan Sihala, Malaysia, and are pleading for rescue through various media.

It has been found that those who reached Malaysia through the Utsav Manpower Company located in Gaushala, Kathmandu, despite having free visas and free tickets, paid different amounts of bond to different agents. Som of Kharmi has informed that although there is an agreement to work six days a week at the rate of eight hours a day, no company has yet taken responsibility.

"It took 18 days to work after bringing it here and leaving it. Now five months have passed since we came. The people of the company have not even come to meet him", he said, "When calling the representative of the manpower company in Nepal, they started threatening him by making various excuses. We are being held captive.”
